The Municipality of Riva del Po announces that on Tuesday, June 2, 2026, an event dedicated to Republic Day and the 80th anniversary of women’s suffrage will be held in the Civic Hall of the Alda Merini di Berra Library. The program will combine historical exploration, civic memory, and intergenerational participation.
The day will feature the photographic exhibition “Women of Ferrara and the Province from the 1940s to the Present Day,” from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., a visual journey that chronicles the evolution of women’s roles in local society.
In the afternoon, from 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., a conference on universal suffrage will be held, introduced by institutional greetings from Daniela Simoni, Mayor of Riva del Po.
