The Municipality of Riva del Po announces the grand return of Bike Night Emilia-Romagna, a nighttime cycling event organized by Witoor Sport A.S.D. and APS, with the patronage of the Municipality of Riva del Po, scheduled for Saturday, June 13th, and Sunday, June 14th, 2026.
The event, now in its eleventh year, is a consolidated event for the promotion of sustainable mobility, cycling tourism, and the enhancement of the local area.
Bike Night features a 100km nighttime route, entirely flat, starting in Ferrara at midnight and arriving at Lido di Volano at dawn, along the Destra Po cycle path.
Three refreshment points serving local products are planned along the route, including two in the municipality of Riva del Po:
Ro, at the Mulino del Po
Serravalle, at the Fabbrica dell’Acqua
The initiative attracts a diverse audience, with participants of varying ages and backgrounds, and each year attracts a significant number of people from outside the province, contributing to the promotion of tourism in the area.
The event is also accessible to people with disabilities, thanks to the mechanical and medical assistance services available along the route.
The program includes the opening of the departure village at 6:00 PM in Piazza Savonarola in Ferrara, with exhibitors, dedicated services, and family activities, including Kids Night scheduled between 9:00 PM and 10:00 PM.
