The Metaphysical Days 2026

On September 19 and 20, 2026, Tresigallo, the Metaphysical City, celebrates the tenth anniversary of the event with a program dedicated to architecture, art, materials, special visits, and the memory of a cultural project that has grown over time.

There is a place in the Ferrara plain where architecture seems to suspend time. It is Tresigallo, the “Metaphysical City,” with its rigorous geometry, porticoes, arches, squares, and rationalist buildings that still today compose a surprising and almost unreal urban landscape. This heritage has attracted architects, scholars, photographers, artists, and visitors over the years, and will once again be the focus of the Metaphysical Days in 2026.

The event will take place on Saturday, September 19 and Sunday, September 20, 2026, when the event will celebrate a particularly significant milestone: ten years! This tenth anniversary will be celebrated not only through remembrance of past editions, but above all through a new opportunity to discuss twentieth-century architecture and Tresigallo’s ability to continue to question the present.
